The membership benefits range from member
discounted forms and documents to various education and training
seminars. You will have access to our Planroom to view and obtain
copies of plans and specs. Numerous seminars and classes will be
available periodically over the course of the year. Your company will
be eligible to win a Michiana Builders Association Excellence in
Construction Award. Over the course of the last year our membership has
increased by 78%, so become a member and give your company the
competitive advantage that is needed to excel in this industry. We carry numerous AIA Contract documents, 1926 OSHA Construction Regulation Books, Federal and State Compliance Posters, and other documents on hand at all times. You will also have access to our industry related library. All of the forms and documents are sold at a member discounted price. Planroom The Planroom is open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday thru Friday, for you to view plans and obtain copies if desired. Also, there is the option of checking out the plans and specs overnight. We have a daily updated Plancard available to view through our website, as well as a weekly receipt of the Plancard via fax or e-mail. Classes/Seminars OSHA Safety, First Aid and CPR Certification, and AIA Accredited Events are just some of the seminars we offer. At times, some of these classes and seminars could be free to contributing members. We also have various seminars informing members about some of the changes taking place in the construction industry, and also seminars informing members of new projects taking place in the area. Events As a member you will be able to attend our annual meeting, The Michiana Builders Association Excellence in Construction Awards, and Annual MBA Golf Outing. Each year we invite all members to a dinner and discuss the accomplishments of the past year and the expectations for the upcoming year. The MBA Excellence in Construction Awards is a perfect event to take the time and look back to recognize and honor our members for the excellent work completed by them. The MBA Golf Outing is one of the region’s largest in the construction industry. It is a great opportunity to network with your peers and clients.
