Mission Statement of
Michiana Area Roofing Contractors Association (MARCA)
Effective January 1, 2003

We shall pledge to maintain the current cutting edge of technology and training in our industry through our Joint Apprenticeship/Journeyman Update Training Program and facility.

Our companies shall lead our industry in safety-loss prevention by providing the training, bonding and insurance coverage to protect our workforce, our clients, our environment and our communities.

MARCA contractors shall provide a fair American wage and benefit package to our professional tradesmen so that they can participate in the American dream.

We hereby state our belief in our industry, our union tradesmen partnership and the overall integrity and value that union professional contractors provide to the American society.

REGULAR MEMBERSHIP
1. Roofing Contractors;
2. Or any person or group of persons, who for either a fixed sum, price, fee, percentage, or other compensation, undertakes to or offers to undertake, or purports to have the capacity to undertake to, or submits a bid to or does 
himself or by or through others, contract to erect, construct, repair, rebuild, or improve a building, or other structure or improvement, or any interior or exterior part thereof, for others with the use of roofing, construction or support material, or material which by itself or in combination with other 
products or materials incident thereto. 

Such members shall have the right to vote (one vote per membership) and hold office.
Regular Members must also be in good standing with Industry Fund Contributions. 


AFFILIATE MEMBERSHIP
Only those individual firms or Corporations engaged principally in manufacture, or sale of materials, or equipment, or services used by roofing contractors engaged in construction, and those firms who employee personnel directly connected the roofing 
construction industry shall be eligible for affiliate membership. 

Such members shall not be entitled to a vote or be entitled to hold office.
Affiliate Members do not pay Industry Fund Contributions.

Dues based on the fiscal year, and will be pro-rated by ½ year memberships only.
